Kari Lawry
Chief Human Resources Officer
Kari Lawry is the Chief Human Resources Officer of North. In this role, Lawry is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies in support of North’s overall business plan and strategic direction/initiatives, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. Lawry also owns responsibility for facilities, maintenance, and security across the enterprise.
Prior to joining North, Lawry filled multiple roles focusing in human resources, talent management, and people operations, most notably as CHRO at Redico & Continuum Services, and CPO at Common Sail Investment Group.
Lawry graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and social science and a Master of Human Resources & Labor Relations; Lake Forest Graduate School of Management with a Master of Business Administration; and Harvard Business School with a Certification of Higher Ambition Leadership.
She also sits on the Board of Directors at Kem Krest as well as the advisory board for the Michigan State water ski team.
Lawry has also been recognized as “HR Executive of the Year” by the American Society of Employers.
